Falling Angel

A part of someone hidden from the world

A tortured soul lies deep within

haunting him during the long nights.

Reminders of his painful past,

pulling him into darkness, away from light.



A fighter he'll be to his very end,

because it's all he knows how to be.

Pushing himself beyond common limits,

and clawing his way back to normality.



Weakness is something he refuses to show,

but deep inside, it's slowly killing him.

Never reaching out for anothers' willing hand,

determined to do it all on his very own.



But he's living an unrealistic fantasy,

and he's given up on the good in life.

No one can fight their demons alone,

and walk away the same man...
