Controllable Delusions

who controls whom?

This is read from Top of First set of stanzas to bottom, same with second set, and then again with third.  Wrote this in four minutes as drifting off to sleep on June 3rd 2009.

I have since been told that if you read it across the page ------> with the last stanza in the first refrain being the last stanza in the poem it works as well....not intentional I can assure you:)


DONE what you ASK,                               
DONE what you NEED,
DONE every TASK,                                         
left me to bleed..
                                                                                                                    for the one
SUNG every SONG,                                                                                    that you lost.
WROTE every RHYME,                                                                                Need to run,
It won't be long......                                        to take control,                        forget the cost.
my end of time.                                            hold the reign.
                                                                  Make you whole.
Not good enough,                                      Relinquish the pain.
NEVER BELONG.
Why so tough?                                     
is it wrong                                                  Pain you feel                              Is it real?
                                                                  deep inside.                            Are we alone?
to want to be held,                                        Left to reel,                              Do we feel?
wish to be so true....                                  Just wanna hide.                      Can we atone?
Two hearts they do meld
if only take their cue.                                Can't turn away,
                                                              can't walk and leave.
Does it LAST?                                          Face another day
Is it TRUE?                                              or else you grieve,
Future or past?
It's up to you

to take control
of the reign.
Make you whole.
Relinquish the pain.

Pain you feel
deep inside.
Left to reel,
just wanna hide.

Can't turn away,
can't walk and leave.
Face another day
or else you grieve

for the one
that you lost.
Need to run,
forget the cost.

Is it real?
Are we alone?
Do we feel?
Can we atone?
