My attempt to pay homage to an amazing part of a witches life, her spirit guides. |
A cinquain is a 5 line poem where the first line usually has two syllables, the second four, the third six, the fourth eight and the fifth back to two. A garland is a series of six linked cinquains where the last stanza is made up of the first line of the first, the second of the second and so on and so forth until the fifth line is reached. This should live in my "Form Poetry" folder but fits better here. These are by no means in order of import, all are of equal importance and value to me. The wolf hides in plain sight, from the light; seeking night, causing fear in all those not right. Feel Her. Dragon. Noble and true, to heal and protect you. Red, royal purple, black or blue. Sense Her. Raven. Black wings in flight. Setting out to spread light. Flies away just to keep from sight. Watch Her. Now see the Dragonfly. Flies on colorful wings. Listen to how her voice does sing. Hear Her. Humble Unicorn here. Pure and so clear. Helping all forget fear. Protecting all those She holds dear. Know Her. The Wolf Noble and true. Setting out to spread light. Listen to how Her voice does sing. Know Her. For more amazing Totem inspired musings please check out "Invalid Item" ![]() ![]() ![]() |
