My Teacher's Dog Ate My Homework


My teacher's dog ate my homework,
At least that was her excuse;
If I tried to use that story,
My neck would be in a noose!

My teacher's dog ate my homework
While riding home in her car;
Shreds of my essay on "Summer Vacation"
Were scattered near and far.

My teacher's dog ate my homework,
Now I'm getting an 'A';
I wished he'd eat ALL my homework
If it always ended this way!
