Broken Heart

A poem of heartbreak

I hide inside a broken heart
It contains a feeling that won't part
Because now my heart aches
With the lasting thought it makes

We used to love those days
Spent each time in different ways
But we enjoyed each moment
Each one a special event

But now you've met some other guy
All I'm asking now is why
Did I say something to you
Is it something I forgot to do?

But I guess you'll never know
Of how you hurt me so
Because you left me in a hurry
Without even saying "I'm sorry"
