The Childhood Confession

A poem of a kid who finally finds courage.

The two of us so far apart
Connected in our hearts
Here is our love tale
One of endless scale

Back when we were young
There was a love unsung
There I realized we were meant to be
You in love with me

But I was too shy
Not wondering why
About how I felt inside
But it just couldn't hide

Now I come to you to say
In my own special way
That I express a feeling so true
All this in short is, "I love you"
