For the gifts you’ve shared so kindly.

So thankful for the skills you taught,
Your ways I’ve accepted blindly.

Thank you for the lack of trust,
For trust of none is now my way.

Thanks again for finding fault,
Now other’s flaws shine clear as day.

I honor you for the subtle teachings,
That have guided me in this life.

For only you had my trust completely,
Showing me the words that cut like a knife.

Mother I thank you for the time you spared,
To lead me down life’s winding path.

I only wish that in your efforts,
You had just once experienced my wrath.
