Inspiration by R.M Inhourd

A free verse poem I wrote a while ago showing how important inspiration is to me.

Inspiration

I can never have a beneficial day
if I am not inspired.
I can never be successful
if I am not inspired.
I can never do anything
if I am not inspired.

I have to inspire myself everyday,
so I may have a beneficial day,
so I may have a successful life,
so I can be happy and thank God
for this happiness,
so I can respect people.
for inspiration brings me benefit,
benefiting makes me respect,
respect gives me success,
success makes me thank my Lord
even more, for verily my Lord,
I will never forget You,
and I wait for the day I can
thank You the most,
and please,
don’t make me forget
You.
