Where are thou, Christmas Angels?
When innocent babies die
due to undernourishment,
unroofed children shiver in
intense cold, stuggle for life.
When lascivious men assault
a girl, kill her womanhood,
shatter her bright, puerile dreams.
When bed-ridden people at
death's door writhe with agony,
finally succumb to the
zealous jaws of death and find
peace and joy forever.

Are you there for them to stretch
your helping hand, guide them with
the light of your love and care,
or will you abandon them
in their acute suffering?
