Fear and courage of being in love

FEAR

They call me looser, failure, worthless
They laugh at me, but I don’t care
I can handle all nevertheless
Distance from you I can’t bear

I can rage the stormy ocean
Ghastly blizzards I can dare
Only if I know by heart that
You, for me, are always there

I can’t bring the moons or stars
But for you I can be the light
All the world I can take on
Tell me how with heart I fight?

They give me blows, wounds fatal
I bleed, I cry, but I dare again
You stand ere me and I can’t reach you
How on earth would I heal that pain?

I love you but I can’t love you
How far we’re though we’re near
Anybody, anything worries me not
But it’s your distance that I do fear.
