An expression of the joy i felt when i realized love lives inside myself

Love is ME
Love is who I AM
Love has broken me down
Then built me up again

I have fought for Love's causes
I have nearly drowned in Love's currents
I have found Love's warm shelter
I have sought for Love's penance

I have searched high in the clouds,
I have dug far beneath the Earth
Yet only when i searched within myself,
Did I witness Love's true birth

Love speaks in soft, near silent whispers
It is never blared through a horn
Only in the absence of internal silence,
Has my heart ever felt torn

I welcome this new silence
For It has become my guiding light
A sense of eternal peace now envelops me -
The day just as beautiful as the night

Love has always been my calling -
Yet never before was Love free to be
Until finally I realized that Love's source -
Was always inside of ME
