tears and fears, a child is scared. |
| Lights flashing, a child cries: Gloved hands a gentle touch: Pain, suffering, no reason why: Anger flared, Not loved that much. A small bundle on a bed: Nurses watch, they see a tear: See the bear beside their head: Say some words, now there's fear. Innocents lost through belts and whips: Blind to some, this love so wrong: Take a look upon their hips: Deaf to cries, like some bad song. Back to home some will go: Others lucky, they're set free: Home to a wrong love all they know: To sun and laughter, that's meant to be. Let no lights go flashin g by: let no parent raise a hand: Let no child scream or cry: Let an innocent child be a man. |
