A winged man believes he is one-of-a-kind and falls headfirst into a strange, hidden world

The story of Mikael Angelou is meant to be exciting, fast-paced, and enjoyable to everone from beginning to end.

This was originally written in 2008, and has been refined since then. I wrote it mostly at home, though some of it was at school. Some of it has been mixed up, inspired by the fantastic stories I've found here.

Basically, it's about a twenty-year-old man who moves into a remodeled warehouse-turned-studio. He has wings, and he runs from the government because they want to study him, with or without his permission. Classic conspiratorial-whateverness, I guess you could say. It's written in first person, something I'm not used to doing, so if I slip, I'm relying on you to point that out to me.

Anyway, his life is pretty normal; not completely, but as much as he can get it. Then, when he suddenly has to run again, he goes from living in a small, God-fearing town and trying to escape Uncle Sam, to hunting monsters and fighting real demons. You'll just have to read the actual story.
