In The Mist

In the mist I can hear your voice
You promised to love me forever
You asked me to have faith in you

Daily we walked in the light of love
Leaning on God on high to guide us
A strong foundation built with love

Now you have gone on without me
I still hear your words of comfort
My love is just a heartbeat away
