It All Began With A Smile

His hands strong enough to lift my heavy heart
With eyes as blue as rippling blue waters
Hair as black as glistening roads in the rain

A voice calm and soothing from a gentle soul
Rough hands that knew and loved God’s land
His arms wrapped around me with such confidence

Promises he knew he could and would deliver
A pleasant man with love for me in his big heart
What we had will live on deep inside me forever

It all began with a smile
