Another person told a lie to someone I love, and he doesn't believe it isn't true

You let a lie ruin what we had.
A lie from another,
Planting a seed of doubt in your mind.

How could you let that happen?
You know I have always been true to you,
I would give anything just to see you happy.

You question me,
I thought we had faith and trust.
I guess I was wrong.

Maybe I don’t know you at all.
Maybe I was blind
Maybe I was the one living the lie
