A Poem I Made a Few Years Ago For My Mom on Mother's Day

You've Put Up With Me
Through The Good and The Bad
Gave Me a Reason to Smile
When The World Made Me Sad

You raised Me Right
And Always Gave Me a Place To Stay
You Pushed Me Out
But Never Pushed Me Away

You Taught Me Lessons In Life
That Often brought Tears
But I Promise Mom
There's No Longer Anything to Fear

I've learned My Lesson
And What You've Taught Me I've Grasped
Because of that Now When The World turns Me Away
I can Smile and Laugh

I know I've Made mistakes
And At Time Choose to do Wrong
but In watching You
I've learned to be Strong

You Said I was Gods Gift to You
But I've Opened My Eyes to See
I AM MY MOTHER'S DAUGHTER
And that was Gods Gift TO ME.
