Watching from afar
She doesn't see me keeping stride on the horizon

If she gets too far ahead
I catch up
If I close too quickly I hide my face before she takes notice

Standing in her garden
Peeking through her hedge
Peering in her window
As she goes down to bed

Around the corner when she goes off to work
Still waiting at the end of the day
Waiting in the dark
Lurking in the bushes, biding my time
Waiting for the day that I'll make her mine

Untill that day comes
I keep my distance
