A short poem of a couple's love throughout life |
| Seasons of Life by Cheryl Campbell It was during the springtime of her life When she met the man who would make her his wife Love would blossom like the season's debut And many times they would say "I Love You" The years passed quickly, they shared heartache and more The decay from their winters in wrinkles they wore Children raised and married, offered the best gift on earth The arrival of grandchildren gave them rebirth Although they were old, their hearts could still sing For deep down inside, lay the promise of spring |
