Body of Light

In the end we will see the unseen and know the unknowable.

  Body of Light

                                        I am the unseen,
                                                    one particle flowing with waves of light.
                                          the stranger on your street unobserved.
                                a distant voice in your crowded world unheard.

                          Whether you are sleeping or awake,
                                        no one can know without first seeing,
                                            I am there, here, everywhere
                                                    in your foolish fantasies,
                                              in your empty moments,
                                                    in your pain and pleasure,
                                  a momentary flash on the wall of undefined images.
                                                    without me you are blind.
                                     
                                                   
                         
                              Whether newborn or time wrinkled with age,
                                            you will know knowledge without words,
                                                  you will hold the broken mirror,
                                              viewing the deceptions you weaved.
                                                            you will know
                            all your life is one speck of unseen light.


                                          I am the unseen,
                                without me all the world is dark and blind.
                                              when you are dying of thirst,
                                  when the heart skips and starts to burst,
                                        when you are about to embrace death,
                                    as you exhale your last breath,
                                              you will hear, see, and know
                                          the particle of light is the seed of life that will grow
                                    into waves of glory in an eternal sea,
                                  that light is the true you,
                                                that light is the true me.
