True World

Closing my eyes,
I see the world
So very clear
Who is false
Who is sincere

I see myself
As someone lost
So out of place
Trying to find a friend
Or even a familiar face

But all I see
Are the faces
Or hate revenge and greed
I seek blindly
Sending out my silent plea

Take me from
This world I hate
Comfort my anguish and fears
Give me security
Wipe away my tears
