I want this war to be over
I hope I can see my family again
I fight to keep the people of my country free
I die to protect those who I love
I am a United States Marine and I will never die

I am a United States Ranger
I will see this war through to the end
I pray that I will survive
I know that tomorrow is another day
I wish I could just end the war now
