I was incarcerated recently and I wanted to express to a loved one how I felt. Enjoy!

"WHAT IS LOVE"

Love is when we first met

A time I will never forget

Love is the way you look into my eyes

The seducing stare caught me by surprise

Love is the way you hold my hand

For the rest of our lives your only man

Love is the way you are always there

When I acted like I didn't I always cared

Love is all the little things you do

This shows me in my heart you are really true

Love is you forgiving me for all my faults

Sealing them away in an air-tight vault

Love is how our bodies intertwine

Til death do us part you forever mine

Love is how you taste on my lips

I cherish every time we have ever kissed

Love is no matter if I've been up or down

You stayed in my life you kept me around

Love is always knowing the right thing to say

So of course I love you every single day

Love is more than financial and physical

It's the way we connect emotional and spiritual

Love is no matter what we've ever gone through

Everyday for the rest of our lives I'll Always Love You!
