My thoughts on the recently re-released 'The Lion King' by Disney

The Lions' Kingdom

Flashes of gold, brown, green,

a child's laughter

racing racing, chasing

a memory ever after.



Learning through eyes molten gold,

an adult now

a scar flashes threatening,

an adult now?



Friendship blooms, succession looms,

hooves strike out

tears well, lion, human

shadows and doubt



Comedic relief, brief respite

new beginning, steady pace

then past returns

to be put in its' place



Ascending to light

the sun does bestow

stark realisation,

too attached to this show
