Those Who Sacrificed

A tribute to those who have served, and those who still serve. In remembrance of 9/11.

This is to all who have stood tall,
here in the land where united we stand
May freedom fly, that dream cannot die.
To those who serve, our cheers they deserve.
Never forget those who sacrificed.

Ten years to this month since we watched towers fall.
Like the Alamo, we will remember them all.
It’s just a reminder of why we must fight.
Men and woman alike who knows that it’s right.
A country founded, “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
Like his sacrifice, the same we must.

So when I see a veteran,
you bet I’ll shake their hand
Does that make me a better man,
thanking for protection of this land?
Never forget those who sacrificed.
