A rhyming couplet poem. Describing the average but detailed life of a child's pet dog. |
Through A Dog's Eyes Every day I wait by the door, this action so tedious it feels like a chore. I don't care about anyone, only for you, stalking the door you always run through. Nothing catches my attention not even a ball, as I wait so long for your voice and your call. Then suddenly I spot your frame, hear you yelling and calling my name. I wag my tail, we have some fun, playing in the late afternoon sun. No time passes, and your gone once more, and i'm restarting my daily chore. |
