In a dream
I dreamt of you
The sky was bright
and oh so blue.
Drifting clouds
was a start.
An open mind
and open heart.

In my dreams
the days passed by.
Without you,
only I.
And every second
that drifted by.
I had the thought
that I should die.

In a haze
you walked by.
A sweet boy
with tears in his eyes.
Words written
on his arms
To remind him
what he’s done

Scary thoughts
seized my head
And in a daze
I was dead.
Left to rot
in my dream
Where nothing is
as it seems.

As a ghost
I watched you walk
Heard your words
how you talked.
All the secrets
tumbled out.
And all your hate
to shout about.

Weak you were
but still you tried.
Crawled to the cliff
wanted to die.
Just as I, but
not like this.
No one ever
expected it.
