Alone

This a poem I wrote at a very vulnerable time in my life.

All alone I sit day after day

thoughts running scattered through my head

All alone at night, I pray

as you lie asleep in bed.



I'm here but no one sees me

I talk, but no one is there

I cry, but no one hears me.



All alone I wonder

and all alone I dream

All alone I have thoughts of us together

but still I'm alone, so it may seem.



I'm here but no one sees me

I cry but no one hears me.



My thoughts I scribble down

and better said through written word

because everything you hear me say

isn't what you heard.
