another depressing poem because im a happy person you see x

for a split second
i had you in my life
It felt so new
Like another chance
Like a fresh start
Like my luck was shining.

My expectations were not high
but i hoped for so much more
and now withins an empty void
which cannot be filled again

Nothing hurts more
then knowing you dont care
Blood relation, father to daughter
same eyes, same smile
but worlds apart.

I ask myself always
why cant you be a dad
its as if fate was tormeting me
teasing what i couldnt have

Maybe i should accept
i will never be good enough
For you, for your presence
for your fatherly love


I guess in then end
I am just a mistake you left long ago.
