Northern Lights

this one would be a poem deeply written, maybe you'd be able to relate? :D

sometimes I just lay back and look
at how we used to get all mad
you'd be here in my arms all day
oh, how you made me catch my breath

everything always seems so calm
but that's the sign of the coming unlit dawn

why does it always happen
that without you, daylight seems so dark
but why do we always have to
lose what we were meant to call ours

look up, see the northern lights
watch them as they sparkle for you
truth be told they won't last forever
oh, but i promise, for you I will do
