A third poem in my April poetry month effort. It talks a little about peace. |
Peace Peace among all men is a time for lifting our eyes to heaven and giving thanks to God. It is a judgment that life is worth living. Men put down guns and make beauty that is awed. Now a feeling of warm happiness exists and people help each other here and abroad. All ways of worship and cultures coexists to bring a better life for future people in the hope that this time, harmony persists. This begins with a desire from all wise men to make an effort to work for peace. Amen. The form I used is called a Terza Rima Sonnet. It has eleven syllables in each line with a rhyming scheme of aba bcb cdc, dd or one more verse ded ee. It was a little harder for me to do. Feel free to use constructive feedback. This is poem # 3 for April poetry month. |
