Another year .... just went by...

Last i remember

I was swinging to MIley Cyrus

Now, I'm banging my head....



Last i remember,

I was gossiping about hair

Now, I talk about Tan, Cot Theta?!

Minutes used to drag

Seemed, 'had nothing to do,

Now,

      Where is the time to do anythin' new?



Last I remember,

MY shinning new cycle had a scratch

Now I think its time for it to retire!



Last I remember

Every lunch break was the time to chase people and play tag,

Now its about stretching my stiff legs and worrying about the next test.



Last I remember,

"We" were hopping on hand-made squares on roads in the summer heat

And cycling in the rain till the moms hunted "us" down.

Now I don't know when i saw "their" faces, last.



last I remember,

I hated that person,

Now, she knows my deepest secrets!



Last I remember,

I was ridding my dad's shoulders,

I was  few years younger.



Now,I miss those moments

those beloved memories

that meant nothing then, but

like old wine,

gets more flavorsome with age.
