Darken hallways
Darkened walls
Darkened staircase
Down you fall
Into the darkness of the night
Without escape
Forget the light
Because the dark is all you know
No need to try to fight
Forget the light
It’s forever gone
With the knife that you hold on
Your family’s cries
And your friends tears
The screams of anger
The sorrow you bring
These shall haunt you in the night
In the darkness
Blackest of sky
And there is not every escape
From this hell that you create
You had your chance to make it right
You chose your battles
You chose not to fight
You chose to give up
You chose to leave
You chose this darkness
Forever you’ll be
Until you finally come to see
That you are loved
By someone
You’ll see
