Grim and determined I survey the field

Bolster my courage, never to yield

Vengeance calls me to my feet

Tho’ battered and weary I disdain defeat.

All my rage and fury I bring to bear

Razor sharp as I move away from despair

My hatred drives me on relentlessly forward

A destiny that I can only move toward.

Never will I see another blue sky

Blue as my once-beloved’s eyes

Betrayal broke what remains of my heart

Stabbing deeper than a venomous dart.

Now only anger is left remaining

Only bloody justice will ease my pain.

I cut down my enemies in their sins

Reaving their souls as payment begins

Not caring whether I am alive or dead

My avenging sword they all will dread.
