A poem about a moon and a young girl. |
| The Enchanted Moonlight I glided gracefully across the avocado colored forest floor, Past all of the trees and flowers that I adored. When all of a sudden the moon shone his magnificent rays, And smiled upon me like he hadn’t seen me in days. I looked up at him as he looked down upon me, The both of us looked beyond as far as we could see. For hours on end we watched the life of the night… When sleep started to prevail, I gave in without a fight. I laid upon the ground where the moon and I met, And thought to myself, I liked being the moons small, graceful, little pet. |
