The obstacle

A poem about writers block

I sit there at my desk ,
for now all is well
Soon enough here it is
and my brain begins to swell
I pace and i pace , i pace
until my legs stiffen.
Still nothing.

I confide in the outdoors
begging for inspiration
The flowers ,the air, the trees,
the earth , the people , the bees.
Still nothing.

I decide to sleep, i close my eyes.
Still nothing.
