Never Said

Please help me improve my usage of punctuation. I would very much like to improve. Thanks.

Words written but never said
are as forgetful as
words never written and only expressed
in the way she looks at him with
sadness
wishing only that she was better for him
or the way he laughed
seemingly uncomfortable with his
attachment
breaking it down between two lovers
eyes
with wistfulness balanced between
with loneliness
balanced between
it may suffice to say then
that it was best
for words to be written and forgotten
than ever expressed
