Dreams

our dreams

Forever is the night

that sweeps us into our dreams

of anything to please

or knowing nothing that it means

there are things we want to see

and sometimes things we fear

a place that seems unknown

but yet it keeps us near

waking up can be so pleasant

to be back in reality again

then the night returns to us

back to where our thought began

sometimes of things that happened

during our time of being here

or rather bring us back

to a place we tend to fear

our minds love to travel

into another time

and in the morning we try to grasp

the dreams we cannot find
