Arguing

My thoughts on a particularly flawed side of human nature.

You claim you possess
a certain openness
yet you always distress
when a view is expressed
and you begin to aggress
without any finesse
and try to suppress
opinions "they" possess
saying they should egress
because "they" transgress
against the ideals you profess.
You desire to oppress
and call it success.
Your argument's a mess.
You emote in excess.
If you'd self-assess
you might actually progress.
