A newly written piece for spring(free verse) |
| I close my eyes to inhale the glory of spring with all of it's gifts, and petals it brings. The colors that come to light with pinks, whites, and blues- and in the morning among the luster with grasses filled with dew. A moment of nature's music- a whisper of all the sounds that stir in the dawn- high up in the limbs holds the newest of songsters, with a distinctive purl. Sweet blossoms of primroses with a threshold on the rise of lavender, 'n pansies, sweet peas and peonies; with pink hues in the skies. Flawlessly holding the light performing a finesse, as the moon hovers over releasing sounds of the night. 26 lines |
