You found me, and I chose you... |
| What fate awaits us? Could it be love, joy, sorrow or guilt? On my path to find the Zen, you found me. And I chose you, let me be clear. Dismayed by the omnipresent freaks of the opposite sex whose sole mission in life is to dick me around; you found me. And I chose you, amidst all the fanfare and hoopla of empty promises and shady smiles; among the flashy professions and pretentious attitudes, you found me. And I chose you for some reason; not for the wrong ones, but for everything that seemed and felt right. Your words seemed too good to be true, yet their sincerity resonated within me for I knew them to be coming from within the depths of your soul. And all the while I felt a calming presence of the world around me when my soul returned to my body. I already felt whole, yet somehow you were the missing piece of the puzzle that only complemented my heart when you found me. And I, ever enamored, chose you. (31 lines) |
