Unspoken
Manifested from the dark pools of my thought
Spilling onto an alabaster page
With navy lines to gauge
An immovable cage for every word caught
I write my heart out bare

Each letter chosen with obsessive care
Painting with my own shades and hues
Mixing in my midnight blues
Laid out like a forgotten prayer searching for truth
As soundless scribbles scream--
Until I finally deem--
Myself finished.
