This is a poem about a wise fool. (I know. I know) (Oxymoron right?) |
He was the fool of the land He kept the king in stitches He was always getting out of hand He was often to big for his breeches! One day a riddle was told The king he knew it not The fool finally got it unrolled What a promotion he got! He was no longer the fool of the land He still kept the king in stitches Now he was the king's right hand Way too big for his breeches! Here a lesson is set forth Even a fool has worth! |
