Little Elf /149 words, 29 lines

Every Christmas it becomes more clear,
That this is my very favorite time of year.
I see the lights strung all around,
And I hear the cheery Christmas sounds.

I know Santa Claus is on his way,
I look forward to his special day.
He’s busy as a little elf,
For he is the largest himself.

For all the good little girls and boys
To receive their Christmas toys.
They’re filling up his toy shop shelves,
Like good and busy little elves.

They all love this time of year,
They help bring Christmas cheer.
They fill the stockings one and all,
For all good children to have a ball.

Saint Nick fills his belly full of cookies.
The reindeer fly, they’re seasoned not rookies.
Every parent is proud to say,
It is Santa that saves the day.
