Harry was great at procrastination
Avoiding the IRS was his worst temptation
He put off filing and missed the deadline
He thought they would wait, all would be fine.

He filed his taxes just one week late
The IRS would not allow him to procrastinate
Off to collection he went as quick as a flash
The lien on his house made a big splash!

They garnished his wages and put him in hawk
In the government he felt like he owned stock
The IRS agent was a frequent house guest
Harry knew to pay them at his behest.

Avoiding taxes only leads to trouble
Pay them on time or your problems will double.
