Sad moments in life
positives become negatives
as the pendulum swings.

Back and forth across my mind
the pendulum swings,
memories return.

Yesterday's laughter
become tears of loneliness;
sad moments in life.

Salty regrets
fall onto my keyboard,
my father's obituary
stares back at me:
"It's too late to say good-bye!"
