Entered (and ignored A Simple Act It’s such a simple act – a touch. Yet, it can tell a heart so much. A gentle brush of finger tips can say more than words from your lips.. A mother’s touch can reassure a child who wakes up, that's unsure that what he fears was just a dream and not the monsters that they seem. A simple touch says “I love you” erasing doubts. Feelings renew that fills with joy a youthful heart and brings together those apart. For the homeless in the street, who beg for change so they can eat a touch can mean “I understand.” Such is the power of a hand. For the lonely and the sad this simple act can make them glad. It says have faith, you’re not alone in a way that’s always known. Compassion, caring - silent speech; such power is within your reach. It’s such a simple act – a touch.
