Together we walked
never missing a day.
We were meant to be
some may say.

You left a gift
mostly at the door.
My parents would trip
they said no more!

Your face and eyes
still in my mind.
Time is gone fast
wish it would rewind.

A leg you broke
still we danced that night.
a first kiss was goodbye
and your out of sight

Your smile I hold
