Worst Train Ride Ever

In 2002,
While serving in Mumbai, India
My wife and I decided
To take the train
From Mumbai to Delhi.

Unfortunately first class
Was sold out
So we took the second class train.

Normally a ten hour
Overnight train ride
But the train got delayed
By fog along the way.

Finally pulled into Delhi
Late in the afternoon
14 hours later.

The food was horrid
The air con broke down
The train was super crowded
The bedding was uncomfortable.

We decided that was enough
And flew back to Mumbai.
That was my last Indian train ride.
