Harvey Takes a Stroll

Used a random prompt generator to write something. The prompt was "Relinquish Business"

Harvey strolled into the building carrying his briefcase and smirk on his face. He walked on through not even bothering with stopping at the front desk. "Sir-" the front desk spoke up before Harvey interrupted her and said simply "No worries I know where I'm going." He sent a quick text and pocketed his phone.

He swayed his hips to the muzak all the up. Other riders coming on and off saw his enjoyment. Harvey could feel their judging thoughts, but they screw off because it wasn't going to stop his good time.

The elevator dinged, but he danced a little more inbetween the doors so they wouldn't close right away. He snapped his fingers and beelined to the office, opening up to see Yancy Clemens on the phone with his mouth dropped open and gawking at a dancing Harvey. "I'll call you back," said Yancy, and hung up the phone. "What are-"

The briefcase dropped on Yancy's desk, interuptting the thought. The grin on Harvey's face widened as he opened up the briefcase and held up papers. "You've been relieved of duty as of the end of," Harvey paused, "at the end of this sentence."

Yancy shook his head. "No I-"
"Ah, no," said Harvey, wagging his finger. "Security is on their way up to get you out of my chair."
"On whose authority!" yelled Yancy. 15 years at this company and it was crashing down because of what or who.
"Easy," said Harvey. He happily obliged and turned the pages and pointed at a paragraph. "I was able to buy your shares. So your company no longer exists and it's now apart of my company."

Yancy was about to speak up when the doors burst opened with two security guards.
